Mac OS X

Post by Cathy »

I can't see why there's not a I-Doser version for macintosh.

Please, someone explain me that, or tell me that i am stupid and there IS a version. And please tell me where.

I want to take a dose...but my computer is a Mac OS X. I'm getting really pissed off...

Haha, this is kinda like a kid complaining because she/he can't buy pottassium nitrate.
And the bootcamp thing is like getting an adult to buy it for him/her.

Anyways, listen to toxicsk8er
or google "windows emulator for Mac OS X
What's this toxicsk8er??

bootcamp?

Bootcamp lets you instal and run a windows OS on a mac.
So you basicly two operating systems Mac OS x and Windows XP (for example.)
The only thing is you need a windows installation disc to do this and you need at least 10 gb of free space on you hd.

is that what you were asking geda?

windows and mac hardware is the same the os is very similar in quality the only large difference is its 2000% simpler to install windows on a mac then installing mac on a windows. windows is built with technologies to prevent that. mac encourages it. that vale is why you buy a mac.

I got i-doser working successfully on linux using WINE. Mac OS X is similar to linux in that they are both based on UNIX. WINE is a program that allows someone running a UNIX-based system to run some (and I mean not all) windows programs on that system. a brief description of what I did is here: http://www.i-doser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=149 including a link to download WINE for Mac OS X.

Good luck!
