Post by Tek »

Ok so I got the error Message: "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."This is a walkthrough to help me get passed this error. But I can't figure out how to do part three, can someone help me out? Also,I have Windows XP.Please help a dude out.Below is the walkthrough:

1. Close the I-Doser application.

2. Download this file COMDLG32.OSX

3. Copy COMDLG32.OSX to the WINDOWS\system32 directory on your C: drive (for Windows 95, 98, or ME: \windows\system\) (for Windows NT or 2000: \WINNT\system32\)

4. Click on the "Start" button and then click on "Run".

5. According to your Operating System, type the following command to register this library file:

Windows 95, 98, or Me:
regsvr32 \windows\system\COMDLG32.OCX

Windows NT or 2000:
regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

Windows XP:
regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

7. You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded"

7. Open the I-Doser application.

Tek,

You can download the comdlg32.osx file from the support area at http://www.i-doser.com. Then, just copy that file into the specified location based on your operating system, shown in step 3.

right click and select copy

C:\windows\system32 is located in my computer
click on my computer on the desktop.. should be somehting that says "Local Disk C:" or something with C, and click WINDOWS.

You may have to scroll down a long ways, when you are in WINDOWS... find a folder that says system32 and open it.

When you are in system32.. right click again and select paste
