Insomnia

I tried insomnia last night as my first full dose (i had tried some of alcohol earlier and stopped because i was interrupted part way thru, but still felt the effects) and while i was lying there, before sleep took me, i could hear something. Behind the beats and white noise, i remember hearing music of some type, but cant remember the words or even genre. all i remember about it was that it was calming and helped me fall asleep. has this ever happened to anyone else?

yes, it actually happened to me during the first dose i did, which was content. and as crazy as it sounds i could have sworn straight to video by mindless self indulgence was playing repeatedly in the background. i dont think it really was but i have no explanation as to why i heard that.

i get this all the time when im half asleep.

like when im on a long bus journey and i'm really tired i start half dreaming and its like im awake and theres loud music playing - then i wake up and the music dissapears and only then do i realise there was anything strange about it.

I think it has something to do with your brain shifting to sleep mode. Like, your almost there, your sub-conscious is going a little bit, but you're still awake. It's like an inverse-lucid-dreaming type thing where you're awake; but your starting to dream.
