Intense CPU usage

Post by Stumblethenrise »

Sorry if the title dont make any sens, it's making some for me.

Here's the thing I really really dont like about I-Doser application. IT TAKES WAY TOO MUCH % OF MY CPU!

I play a game called Everquest II, basically it's a MMORPG but anyway, it takes about 50% of my CPU. When I load IDoser and play at the same time (Still getting used to the doses frequencies) it's lagging really bad cause it goes up to 90-100%. I was just wondering why it was so heavy on the CPU, I mean.. It's only playing a "song".

Would be nice to develop a lighter version =)

Just my tought

It's not like you really have to have anything else running while you're listening to the track.

** I was just wondering why it was so heavy on the CPU, I mean.. It's only playing a "song".**

you are not correct here, it is NOT playing a song, have you never even SEEN the file size of the doses?

I think the dose only describes the pitch a frecency of both sounds in the dose and let the CPU make the actual music out of it.
