can't open audio device (16-bit stereo, 44100 hz)

I get this error while on my friend's laptop using idoser. I open the dose and it plays, I just get this error message that the file cannot be translated or is not supported.
any help is appreciated.

are they bought doses or downloaded, if downloaded the download could be broken in a way. if bought then I would suggest reinstalling iDoser

(re-installing fixes almost everything )
