It's been a long time since I last used I-Doser. Probably 2-3 years. I tested alot of different doses. I can't remember the names, but I used some of the stronger ones aswell. I usually got strong effects from them, like eyelids blinking really fast, heart pumping, white lightning blinking in my head and different "sensations". Sometimes I got so scared I just had to stop.
Everytime when I used I-Doser I usually focused really hard on the sounds, and tried to "visualate" them moving through my brain. As when you play a song in Windows Media Player, you can choose different visualizations that will shift shape according to the tones. Like in Windows Media Player I used to imagine this in my head, making visualization which moved and shaped depending on the sounds I heard.
After I stopped using I-Doser, I could still get the effect. I found out one night when I was in my bed, ready to go to sleep. I tried to focus like I usually do when listening to I-Doser, but this time without the sounds. And yes, I could get some of the effects. Eyelids blinking, semi "sensation" in lack of a better word and slightly increase in heart beat.
Until now, this have not been a problem, because it would be up to me if I wanted this or not, since I had to focus to get this. But lately, I have gotten a full "I-Doser effect" when smoking weed for example, which has really made me rocket high. Which scared me pretty good the first time.
Now, this isn't really a problem either, since I've learned to controll it.
One time I smoked weed friday. And on saturday night, I was ready for bed. I layed down and a sound was stuck in my head. It sounded like an dose, (I can't recall what dose) but I tried not to focus on it, since I was tired. As I was slowly falling to sleep, it suddently kicked it. I got the blinking eyelids and a white flashing light in my head, which scared me good and I was awake and couldn't sleep again.
Now just to test it out, I tried focusing on the sound in my head, like I would on an dose and it really felt like the extacy dose.
This has happened 2-3 times before also, when I've been going to sleep. But these times I couldn't hear the sound, so I thought it was something else. Specially scary was one time I was going to sleep, and suddently my hearth started pounding really fast.
Now I don't use any other drugs then weed (casually), like 4-5 times a month. I'm mentally healthy and I don't suffer from panic attacks etc. I do not have heart problems as I've checked blood pressure etc at the doctor. I'm in fairly good shape and work out on a regular basis.
I'm aware of the fact that brainwaves do reset. In the start I thought me managing to get this effect without listening to I-Doser was something I was just imagining, some kinda Placebo. But over time, since the effects where to strong, I put that idea to the side. Now I'm gonna try to reset dose, and see where that can lead me.
I'm terribly sorry for this being such a long post, but I really hope I can get some tips, help, input or some opinions on this matter. I really want to get rid of this.
And no, I'm not crazy
I-Doser kinda "stuck" in my brain. Help
Re: I-Doser kinda "stuck" in my brain. Help
Don't worry, lad, you are not crazy. That has happened to me a few times, although intentionally. Brain is not to be understood. It contains so many mysteries... One of them is imagination. That's what was the cause of my "fake"-dosing, and most likely of yours too. You subconsciously tricked your mind to believe you were listening to a dose... I did it on purpose. Not really much of a difference, except that i am able to control my mind to do all kinds of wonderful things. Practise, and you will get better in hearing these (imaginary) voices inside your head. And if thou are good at that - thou are good at blocking it too.Heyman wrote:And no, I'm not crazy

If you're really worried about this you should see a doctor. You're not going to get much (if any) professional help here. It doesn't seem too serious though.
Since all I-Doser does is change your brainwaves, any experience it gives you can be experienced without it. Especially through things like meditation or hypnosis
I would see your doctor if you want a full explanation and diagnosis though.

Yeah don't worry, you're fine. My brain has more quirks than yours i bet.
For example if my brain decides that i'm gonna have the hardest time sleeping in a particular night, well sure as heck that will happen. Lots of thoughts start spinning in my head (mostly of things i have to do in the near future, or projects i am involved in), as soon as i put my head on the pillow. Also strange is that even though my thoughts are swirling at an insane rate and i have to wake up, i have a really hard time staying awake, it's like my mind wants me to fall back asleep and struggle again. Usually getting out of bed for an hour then going back gets rid of this.
At other times i'm having a nice dream and enjoying it, and suddenly i start to get very very dizzy (in the dream that is). When i wake up i'm fine.
It'll either go away by itself or you'll learn to control it. This is precisely why these things happen - they're trying to teach us something. Whether we listen or not is another problem.

Or maybe you just have problems within your brain's balancing mechanisms and should go see a doctor ffs.Th3_uN1Qu3 wrote:Yeah don't worry, you're fine. My brain has more quirks than yours i bet.
