Ambien Prescription; How?

Post by Shrimpo »

Hi, not too long ago I was thinking of asking me dr. for prescription sleep aids because of my ADHD meds. Also, I always get enough sleep for my age yet I still remain tired so that probably would've been my reason. I know there are other sleep aids out there but I'd like Ambien. What would be an almost for sure way to bring it up yet not seem like a druggy who wants prescription hallucingens. My dr. is pretty easy to manipulate so... yeah. I need a response by this thursday (May 6, 2010). Thanks

P.S. I know this is in the wrong catagory but, no one responded in 'Visionary Chemicals...'

Sorry no one responded to your other thread, but just be really honest and straight-forward when bringing it up. Don't be embarrassed to ask, because if it's a real problem then you have nothing to hide, and he should be able to help you with it. After all, doctors are meant to fix these types of issues.

However; if you're just looking to get high, please stay away from drugs. It can really fuck up your life and the lives of those around you. There's a difference between drugs and happiness.

Thanks for your response and concern. I know how easy it is to fuck your life up with drugs. It's a fine line between responsible drug use and full blown addiction. But, I've read much and much about all kinds of drugs (legal and illegal) and know the facts. On top of that, I moniter my drug consumption and mental state and compensate for the impaired judgements that some drugs cause (Alcohol, Stimulants, etc.) Knowing the facts and taking responsibility with your drug use can mean the difference between a fun stress-free night or a d-N-MethylAmphetamine addiction. Again, thanks for your concern. P.S. I really do need sleep meds since my ADHD meds make the transition to sleep take ~30 min - 45 min and why not take a sleep med that can make you hallucinate if you fight the sedation. Plus I happen to be prescribed pharmecutical methamphetamine (Desoxyn) for my ADHD. :)

Eh. Theres a difference between wrecking your life on cocaine and taking ambiene to hallucinate once or twice.

If we wan't to get technical, sugars a drug. You do "drugs" every day.
