My First Ever I-Dose: Opium

Post by MoltarTheDirector »

Hey I-Dosers, I'm just here to describe my first ever I-Dose, which was Opium. Now, this being my first ever Dose, I was skeptical but optimistic. The idea of this really excited me. So after reading up on the ideal way to Dose and the ideal Doses to start on etc., I decided to go with a Moderate level drug in the Recreational category, Opium. My plan was to try one drug from each tier and eventually move up to Very Very Strong. The effect says "Euphoria, a relaxed calmness, or sedation." That's exactly what I got. I lay down on my bed, turned the lights out, started the file, and turned away from my computer. While listening to the actual file, I didn't feel much of anything. It was just me trying to stay focused and absorb the sound. Accept for weird straining feelings in my knees, like they were coming detached. I kept my eyes closed and occasionally opened them to see if anything happened. I checked how far along the dose was and I only had about a minute left. I lay there for about 5 though, still hearing the sounds in my head. I got up, walked around and was ready to decide this didn't work for me. But, I looked in the mirror and saw my eyes were a bit glazed over. Then I went and sat back down on my bed and felt the effects. I was calmly drowsy. And I felt very tired after about 30 minutes. I could definitely feel the effect, but my guess is it wasn't as serious as most peoples. But, it was my first dose, and it was low-power, so I'm confident others will work for me. Feel free to share your experience with Opium and first time experiences as well. :-D

One of the first things I tried was Absinthe. It was soooo relaxing and I remember getting these ideas for pictures and writing things. While doing the dose I even got up at one point to scribble out this picture of a strange ship on waves and some sentences that didn't make much sense later. It's listed VERY STRONG, but I enjoyed it and I've done a lot of doses now and I don't think that it deserves that high a label, but that's just my experience. I haven't tried Opium, but I might. Happy dosing!
(in case you're interested)
Absinthe / Recreational (VERY STRONG) / 45 Minutes / The Green Fairy; The Green Goddess; La Fee Verte. Our engineers went back to first-hand accounts recorded as far bast as the 1850s, and attempted to simulate the effects of of this mystic green drink. Did we succed? We may never know for sure, since Absinthe was banned long ago. We've compared it to other real-world wormwood concoctions, and we think you will agree there is something to this: lucidity hits slowly as your speech becomes very articulate and your ideas clear, the haze sets, but but drifts, you are drunk but you aren't. Suddenly you realize why this was the drug of choice for Van Gogh, Baudelaire, and Verlaine - it is a surreal smooth unlike anything available on the street today that opens your mind, glosses over the universe, but makes everything clear all at once. Amazing, is what you will call it. Absinthe is what it is.

Nice man, thanks for the reply. I'd never thought of trying Absinthe because I always associate alcohol with a groggy feeling. But, hey I might give it a shot now. And, like I said, the effects Opium were fairly mild for me, but feel free to try it for yourself.

Absinthe in real life is a strange drink. It makes you think you aren't drunk when you are, it also gives you much more abstract thought patterns, instead of normal alcohol giving you slower thought patterns. But ofcourse, the world still spins around and you can throw up if you drink too much :P
