Anesthesia help or possible experience?

I reciently tried anesthesia full dose 30 minutes and i did what i heard on the forums, count down from a number. and soon i began to loose count then i eventually blacked out? or fell asleep? i dont really remember.
after a "woke up" i had 2 minutes (about) left to the dose and i listened to it with little concentration.
when i completed the dose i had a sense that a lot has happened in the world outside the dose. i wasnt trippy or falling over as described.
is this the beginning of good doses?
any advic or other doses i should try???
