mental health history

Post by cook471 »

I am just wondering if I-doser can effect long term mental health.

I am a little hesitant to start using it until I clear up this issue , because I have a family with a history of mental health problems (SCHITZO, BI- BOLAR, ETC). I know I am not supposed to use actual substances for long term use because of a risk of being susceptible to these illnesses. Is this the same with i-doser and long term mental health.

Just to clarify: I am not talking about psycoactive affects while using the dose, I am rather worried about long term side effects for one with a family history.

and this is the theory behind my I-doser medical benifits thread...
I-doser is basicly an advanced meditation aid that makes you feel high, meditations are (to my knowlage) used to help treat these conditions.

You won't find ANYONE here being able to answer your question. Replies give you the point of view of the forumers, but i don't think they are qualified enough to tell you anything about that.

Thanks for the responses. Faithless is right, no one here can give me an absolute 100% correct scientific answer. But, considering that quite a few of the people on this forum have reported a positive medical effect or at least neutral and there have been few to no negitive reports, I am going to take it slowly, but I feel comforable enough to give it a try. Thanks guys!

Yes, there is a thread on here about the differences between how a chemical variety of any drug will effect the body in the long term, and how these doses on I-doser will affect it..The doses are supposed to wear off within a few hours anyway. Also, another possibility is whether or not a dose could activate a dormant underlying health problem.. My answer to that is, more than likely not..I'll try and find that thread for ya

I agree with faithless, but I'll tell you my opinion anyway.
IDoser is in no way chemically addictive. You don't have to worry about the addiction you would get with real drugs or alcohol or cigarettes. The only "addiction" thing that someone might want to consider is an addiction to the great feeling the doses can give you. But, that's a worry with a lot of things. I think the only real danger with IDoses is when someone does something stupid directly after doing a dose, like driving a car while still really high or something. So as long as you're not doing that, I really don't think they're dangerous at all. I wouldn't worry about it. In fact, I have a mental illness, and I don't worry about it.
