Lucid dreams

Post by Ineedalife »

So i figured i would finalley try Lucid Dream since all my friends were bugging me about it, and to be quite honest, i cant even remember the last time I had a lucid dream but I am still familiar with what it feels like.So I took LD and fell asleep about 25min later, woke up, didnt remember anything (it was around 11ish).
I decided i was still tired so I went back to sleep for a bit, all of a sudden I was in the middle of a lucid dream which was awesome, this only lasted for about 15minutes, i woke up, and naturally was pissed off, then i focused on how I wanted to be in the dream again and once again fell asleep in the dream. I repeated this maybe 3 or 4 times before i woke up for good.
Although these short LDs i had were fun, they were really annoying considering I didnt have THAT MUCH controll in these dreams because I was on the verge of waking up the entire time. So my question is; is there anyway to make my LD occur in the depths of my sleep, not in the morning when im nearly ready to wake up, and for me to stay in them for a while, and have more controll. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that dreams occur mostly when you ARE about to wake up, so, no.

I thought dreams occured all throughout the night, and that you only remembered the ones that were close to waking up.

I don't know for sure, honestly. I think with regular meditation you can consistently lucid dream for extended periods.

I was thinking that dreams occur during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Also I heard a rumor once that if you're about to wake up and you spin in your dream, it'll keep you from waking up. Something like that.

I have plenty of wonderful books on lucid dreaming that have changed my life. Look it up on amazon.
