Addiction?

Post by xLAMExOx »

Is it possible to get addicted to this stuff?
Because I don't want to like be addicted to my computer 24/7.

If it is possible, which I doubt it is, then who is.

Well, I could see how it would be addicting. It's a cool thing not many people know about, so obviously you'll want to try lots of doses, but I mean, I don't think it actually addicts you.

You will not become addicted to it like a real drug b/c the physical addiction is not there. Don't expect symptoms you can get when you try to stop caffene. You could get addicted to the feeling, but that is easily a breakable habbit for someone with any kind of will power...

No physical addiction, no serious side effects.

But i can see it now..."Hi and welcome to the first I-doser Anonymous meeting. Come on up to the podium and tell us your name."

From what i understand of addicctions...

At least some drugs makes our body produce lots of a particular hormone (more than normal, and that's why the effect is stronger). But our body is not prepared for such a big amount. That makes us to generate more receptors to capture those hormones. And this is at least a part of being addicted to some "hormone generator", because you have so many receptors over time, that you NEED more and more hormones to fill that need.....

So, if i-Dose makes us produce a large amount of whatever hormone, more than our body would normally produce, i think it would be possible to have at least this effect of an addiction....

It's not addicting, but it is habit forming. Kind of like watching TV. You could easily get up and go for a jog, but you watch TV. Not addciting, Habit Forming.

You couldn't be more wrong. It could be psychologically addicting. And if you think that doesn't count, I'd like to point out that Cocaine isn't physically addicting, just psychologically. I don't think you'll argue about the addictive qualities of coke.

Above posts -- true dat.

I do believe this may be habit-forming, but in no way addicting.

And as to coke, i've found that pretty much the whole addicting side of coke is the feeling you get as it's going up your nose. I mean, the high pretty much sucks, but you just want that feeling of burning electrical wire flying up your nostrils. It sucks, to say the least.

Addiction's psychological. There is a physical aspect to it, but not as much psychological. I just think you need a trigger for the addiction (part of the physical aspect) -- the powder up your nose, the burning in your lungs, etc.
