I have this headset http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/xbo ... -dx12.aspx
I have been getting very little effects, I'm still trying though :D ,and I'm wondering if I should use or shouldn't use bass boost when dosing.

Depends on the headphones your using. Honestly I say no if you have good headphones just to avoid ruining headphones. I personally would go with Loudness, Small Speaker, Treble Reducer. Those are going to give you a richer sound on crappy headphones which may actually give you the edge.

yeah it really depends on the quality of the headphones because cheaper headphones can easily be ruined by bass boost

My headset isn't very cheap lol, but it has a knob to allow me to turn bass way up or down to no boost.

Same rules apply as if they would on a guitar amp. Dont overdrive them too hard cause thats bad news.

Rule of thumb: Don't use any software or hardware based enhancement, surround, or boost effects. Doses are engineered to be listened to without addition pre or post processing effects.
