Staying Awake?

Whenever I try to administer a dose, I can't help falling asleep. One second I'm 100% awake, and in the middle of an aim chat room, the next it's been 3 hours already and I'm drooling on my desk. I've tried counting backwards from 100 over and over, and it doesn't help. Anybody got any tips on how to help keep myself awake? I don't know, maybe keeping the lights on? Anything like that?

Maybe listen to a quick dose like french roast before you tackle the longer ones.

Maybe that'd work, but would my issue have anything to do with the fact that both times I've fallen asleep were with the same dose, Hand of God? Would I be falling asleep since I'm not used to such powerful doses? Or does it make no difference what dose is causing this?

Don't know, I fall asleep sometimes when I do it, and other times I don't. Try earlier in the day and just put something over your eyes to block out the light.

it could be that you probably should try something easier than going straight for the $200.00 dose...

I did acid last night and can't remember anything that happened during or after the dose. I was laying on my couch in the basement, then woke up in my bed up two floors in the morning. I read on one of the links at the Monroe institute, something about "clicking out" of experiences if you are not ready. Does this happen with iDoser?

Probably not. If you're not ready for a dose, the worst that could happen is that you get minimum/no effects.

I used to be able to stay awake through all the doses, but the last like 5 nights I've fallen asleep listening to them.
