problem with my jack-plug

Post by faithless »

Hi all, i have a problem with the jack plug of my headphones: i don't get all the sounds when it's normally plugged, i have to press on one side of the plug with something to get an entire sound. When i'm listening to music, the voices are lower, and the rest of the sound changes. When on i-doser, i get the beats perfectly but not the sounds behind, I mean the "fog" of sounds...

It works normally when i compress the plug, but i'm afraid this is gonna deteriorate my plug one day or another.

Any tip to fix this?

Thanks

It sounds like your headphones are shorted out...

Happens all the time...you can play with the jack: unplug it just the tiniest bit, and you'll get full sound. But this is annoying, and won't work for long. Sometimes it doesn't even work.

If they're an expensive pair of headphones, you might want to check up on any warranties/anything you have for replacement or repair...if they're not, you'll just need to get new ones :(
