The name says it all.
Could it work? Is it a good idea?

There are very complicated biological processes involved in near death experiences. I think the closes I-Doser can get is Out of Body.

Basically there are four steps to a near death experience.
1) the light at the end of a long tunnel:
I know I-doser can do this one, many doses do make you see lights that aren't there.
2) seeing your dead relatives and friends:
I-doser can make you remember things, but this is the one step that I most seriously doubt can work
3) seeing what the afterlife and god looks like:
Hand Of God, need I say more.
4) being turned back, being told it is not your time:
I-doser can recreate this by bringing down the HOG effects in such a way as it gives you the effect of relief (can be done, just look at A-BOMB)
I know there is more, but I cannot think of too many reasons that it wouldn't work.

What? Since when is there a formula to near-death experiences? I know plenty of people who have had near-death experiences that were nothing like that at all.

I know, but this is just a generic experience that I-doser might be able to recreate

OBE's are Near death experiences.

Gah! No they're not. A near-death experience is a near-death experience. It will be different from person to person, though similar in some respects due to the various chemicals involved. Just because you go OOB doesn't mean you're having a near-death experience.

I &$*% know what OBE's are. Im just saying, a large percentage of People who have had NDE describe them as OBE's.

You made a positive statement. OOBs ARE NDEs. That statement is clearly false. I'm trying to give accurate feedback about the OPs suggestion. As I said in my first post, OOB is probably as close as I-Doser can get, but it's really not the same at all. If you want to experience a near death experience without nearly dying, your best bets are to take Ketamine IM (nasty thought, I know) or smoke some pure DMT. DMT occurs naturally in the body and is one of the primary biological components of NDEs, making it your best bet if you want to experience near-death.

Ahha, sorry for the aggressive comment I gave ness, it was really late when I posted it.

Doesn't I-doser make that? I haven't tried it, but does it do anything like that?

I-Doser has a DMT dose, but I'm 99.999% certain it won't induce a near death experience. You're going to have to use the chemical to kick off the cascades in your brain to get near-death.
Edit: That's worded poorly. Using DMT doesn't make you nearly die, it just kicks off the sensations. When you're dying, large amounts of DMT are released in your body, thus you can mimic nearly dying by using DMT.
