ok sorry for asking this question..

seems like there are a lot of them but i have no real knowledge on this subject...

i have icemats,

Frequency Response 18Hz-28KHz
Input Impedance 40 ohm
Sensitivity SPL@1kHz, 1V rms: 99 - 104 dB
Connector 3.5mm/ USB
Ear Coupling Circumaural
Cord Length 9 feet
Microphone SPEC
Microphone Impedance ~2K ohm
Microphone Frequency Response 80Hz-15KHz
Microphone Sensitivity -38 dB

i dont know if that will work at all and i see that it is circumaural, not biaural? does this make a difference, and if it does are there any settings i can change, and/or use my ipod earbuds?

Binaural beats can't come out of your headphones it the differents between the two tones in both ears you hear. So these headphones are good =) and Ipod will also work both I've heard the effects could beless =D gl dosing

Circumaural is a design of headphone style or something not how the sound is played =P
Circumaural heaphones are headphones that fit around the ear =P
Supra-aural headphones are headphones that sit ontop and then you have earbuds and canalphones XP

Also yes those headphones will probibly work =P
