Any experiences with Genesis?

I'm wondering if anyone has any experiences with "Genesis". Never seen it mentioned. Is it a dud? I would like to know about it before I buy it because the descriptions they give you aren't always spot-on =P

I know some people have described it as "being connected to everything" though personally I haven't bought or tried it.
