This is and old myth that when you prepare a banana skin correctly it produces bananadine and is aparintly pretty fucking potent.
Heres the link to it:

Also

Bananadine is a fictional psychoactive substance. The recipe for its extraction from banana peel was originally published as a hoax in the Berkeley Barb in March 1967. It became more widely known when William Powell, believing it to be true, reproduced the method in The Anarchist Cookbook in 1970. And for naive teenagers like myself in the 1970s, the fact that he called it "Musa Sapientum Bananadine" made it all the more believable. (In case you didn't know, Musa Sapientum is simply the Latin biological name for the banana).

Researchers at New York University found that banana peel contains no intoxicating chemicals, and any effects from smoking it are purely psychological. Over the years bananadine has become a popular urban legend.

What kind of effects would a dose such as this do?

Well the manuscript saids it is that of 1000 beverages.
Meaning like 1000 times stronger than beer i guess..
Anyways aside from that the effects come on strong with an erre feeling of somebody watching you from behind you. And sometime reports of seizures.
And a very very very strong hallucinogenic trip.

I don't think the people involved in the hoax specified what it was like. I don't think we can accurately say what a dose would do. It's an alright idea, but I don't like to feel like I'm bein watched.

And yes, we know it's fake 420master :p

How would you know, Have you tryed it? Also the orange thing really is true, Depending on what type of mold grows on it. Some of the mold tested was possitive for phisco active properties.

Toothpaste on oranges won't do anything. It's silly to beleive anything like that would work. Bananas also don't have pyschoactive properties either. You don't need to know first hand that it doesn't work to know it doesn't work. If you told me that I could fly would I go jump off of a cliff to test it? No. Thats bull.
Also, I doubt your information is true. If you can actually produce those results then I'll retract my comments. Just to save you some time though, I'll give you a little hint: Orange peels with toothpaste are not psychoactive on any level.
And don't give me that "why don't YOU research it?" crap. YOU are the one argueing that it works, so you need to produce a study that says that its psychoactive.
So good luck with that.

there is no evidence that oranges nor banannas have psychoactive proprieties, it is an urban legend and only gullible people are susceptible to believing... If you can come up with proof that oranges have mind altering effects i will be shocked

He'll search for about 5 hours and then be all "oh shit, they're right."

I never said that i flew or anything cameradiaz
Proof or not?
After about 13 hours of research i have come up with a very detailed answer for you to follow,

Extracted from banadine is a molicule known as "2C-B-FLY" and is know to be about x2 stronger than lsd.

Basic Molicule ------------> http://s699.photobucket.com/albums/vv35 ... nadine.gif

extraction of banadine is not just boiling it that's a stupid assumption, It indeed requires a much more potent method of extraction such materials that cannot be accessible by a common person. Such as supercritical fluid, and to extract enough to feel the the effects requires ALOT more bananas than 15 pounds.

So believe it or not its a true chemical and drug its just not called bananadine.

Im well aware of what 2c-b-fly is, but what your saying provides no evidence that it is in banana peels.

So, where does it say banana peels are psychoactive?
Nowhere.

We aren't talking about potential for psychoactivity. We're talking about banana peels making you high. It's not possible. Don't argue that its possible. Can't happen.
