read around the faq.
I found that any volume works, and if you read up a little (wikipedia, =P) you'll find that volume has very little to do with binaural beats.
just make sure its loud enough to be dominant over other sounds, but quiet enough so your eardrums dont rip.

just a quick question, sorry for bugging some of you, but uhh...
as the title says, do Ipod earphones work on this?
I mean, I havent had any effects yet, is it because of the earphones?
something tells me the chances are its the earphones.
