Do the .mp3s have the same quality as CDs or the program?

Will my little Sony ear buds be good enough to allow the dose to work? (the box says "Frequency response: 12-22,000 Hz"

Hey, I was doing the morphine dose today and in the middle if it was a loud beep which was really out of place with the rest of the dose.

It freaked me out because I was really relaxing, hah. Anyway, is the beep supposed to be in there, or do I have a bad file?
