Do I listen to the dose with my eyes closed the whole time then open after and look around? or what?

During a-bomb my body tenses up, I dont force it I just feel it as I am counting, is this good for the trip or am I doing something wrong?
(I can relax it if I want to, but i dont cause im scared it will ruin the trip)
