By this I meant the sound was transmitting through his headphones as well as the speakers. So he was getting the effect, and the whole state could hear it.

Whenever anyone spoke it sounded like the noise was coming from underwater, and it was great. I may be wrong, but I beleive that that 'underwater' quality was actually jsut because you were listening to the track too loud, haha. I've seen other people who complained about this happeneing.
