Well, I-Doser uses binaural beats to make the brain synchronize to them and reach a certain state. But, by reading the forum, i know that this isn't working for many people ( with me included ).
So today this ideia just came to my mind: Would it be possible to reach the same results ( when positive ) with visuals ? What i'm talking about is something like the windows media player's " Visualizations" ( when you are listening to a song ), or any other player that has that option. Maybe you could create a certain "beat" in the image, and with the aid of the sound in your headphones, make it easier to "dose" yourself. I think this would be great, because people now would have something to focus on, not just listening, but also seeing that beat, and it would help concentrate on it.
What do you think? Is this possible ?
P.S. : Just not suitable for epileptics..
Visual Dose ?
Yes, that what i was saying, about light being much more effective. Sometimes i mess all my ideias and i can't really explain myself well. Anyway, about the computer screen, i don't think it would be too hard to study the effects of it, and it could also come with a little program that would help ajust the screen's colours and such to optimal settings.

Re: Visual Dose ?
Possible? Very much so. I think the technology already exists. The problem is that, much like idoser now, a different visualization would have to be played in each eye--and you just can't do that on a computer screen.Lyx wrote:Well, I-Doser uses binaural beats to make the brain synchronize to them and reach a certain state. Lyx, your idea is amazing, if not better than the idea of having sound wave burial beats travel to the mind. I know, speaking formyself, when I do idoser, I want to experience somthing very visual, visual hallucinations are the best. For the fact that I-Dosers usually dont give off that symptom, I've found other souloutions. Listen to an idoser and watch an extended version of this http://youtube.com/watch?v=FmtFwjbCFLQ. With that said, if anyone knows any of the doses that will make me visually hallucinate lemmie know please!
