help!!!

Post by bill1211 »

I'm new to lucid dreaming. I used to have dreams alot when i was little. Now, I'm lucky to have one a month. Is it the fact that im older or is it that i dont remember them. When i woke up this morning, I'm starting to keep a dream log. I remembered it right when i woke up but then completely forgot about it in 5 minutes. I want to experience a lucid dream, to take back what time is lost when sleeping. Any tips?

start by putting your alarm ten minutes earlier, so you'll wake up and go back to sleep... its an easy trick to have a MILD dream (they are initials, can't remember for what though)

there is a site about this...

this is still a really hard for me to do. I'm not that good at remembering things anyway.

Start a dream log. Make it a habit to think aout your dream the instant you wake up, and just keep reviewing it being careful to remember every detail you can. Then, put a pen( or pencil) and a journal or ring of paper next to your bed and, write down your dream as fast and legible as you can.

As time progresses you should find it easier to remember them. (It's not instant, but it's still worth it)

i remember dreams from when i was little but now i am lucky to have remembered a dream. I think it is because i dont think i can have a dream so i just sleep and wake up.

Everyone dreams, It's a natural function of the brain. It's just a matter of not remembering them, which is where all of this comes into play. :D

I also think that when i become lucid im going to fall through the floor and hit my body with full force and end up dying or something like that.

You have 50+ dreams a night its just you never remember them all and sometimes 2 or 3 dreams a fused together (ever wonder why the whole setting randomly changes?). Remembering them is the tricky part. Saying "I didnt dream last night" is aload of bull to be honest ;)

So if i sleep for 9 hours i would have to have a dream every 10.8 minutes if i had 50 dreams i think XP
You dont even dream in all the states of sleeping i think XD
Did you exaggerate a bit? =P
