Are most of them supposed to sound very alike?

I'm very new to this whole experience.. I tried some of the free ones my obviously registering for the forum/downloading it, to me they all sound Very similar, almost exact, but I can't really tell.. Is it supposed to be like this?

Yep. Your brain will pick up the slightest change in the binaural beats even if you don't notice it. They speed up, slow down, change pitch, etc.

The amount of static helps give different effects too
