i am about 67% through genesis as i type this. it is one of the stronger doses in terms of a head trip. it's not altering my emotions too much, but i'm incredibly spacey and i'm seeing things in my computer monitor. not like lsd visuals, but like the visuals you get after staying up on meth for a couple of days (which i do NOT recommend, but that's what it's like). probably the strongest open eye visuals i've gotten with i-doser to date.
i'm thinking of following this up with something that will give me some emotional high togo along with my head trip. maybe i'll try morphine....or if anyone suggests something better in the next 7 minutes, lol.
edit: almost done now, and after almost 30 minutes of this powerful dose, i have to correct myself, i am starting to feel an emotional high in my chest, it just took a while to set on. and the last minute is a littlebit of an upper, like f-roast

If your typing that deep of an explaination then, your probably way to unconcentrated to be getting any where near the full effects...Noise wrote:i am about 67% through genesis as i type this. it is one of the stronger doses in terms of a head trip. it's not altering my emotions too much, but i'm incredibly spacey and i'm seeing things in my computer monitor. not like lsd visuals, but like the visuals you get after staying up on meth for a couple of days (which i do NOT recommend, but that's what it's like). probably the strongest open eye visuals i've gotten with i-doser to date.

i'll admit, it is a different type of experience, as opposed to dosing the "proper way."
however, there are a couple of things that I have learned/believe about the doses' impact on myself.
for me, getting a dose to work is not a matter of "concentrating" but rather a matter of distracting myself in a relaxing way, a way that allows my mind to drift. for instance, it is suggested to count backwards. when i do this, i don't concentrate on the tones. i concentrate on the counting, which is distracting myself from the tones in a relaxing way. i can relax, by being on the computer, or my favorite way, is to find a youtube video of some trippy visualization and watching it without sound as i dose (easiest way to find some is to search for "binaural beats").
and the other thing is that i don't believe in the concept of a "full effect" as a opposed to a "partial effect." I like to think of it as a "different effect" and an experience that might be more appropriate for a certain situation. truth be told, the effects aren't static for me. i'm discovering different effects to the same doses all the time. and most of them really can't be described in words.
i'm just having some fun experimenting right now and i don't get too hung up about whether or not i'm getting the full effects of every dose.
i may try genesis formally at some point, and if i do, i'll make sure to report back.

I disagree that doses themselves give different effects based on what your doing while they play. Your brain, each time does the same thing; it processes the sounds and creates the binaural tone, period. You can't change what your brain hears unless you change the tones you listen to. Maybe you are positive you are getting different experiences based on where you do it, but it's the same dose each time.
I'll agree that there are a lot of factors beyond the beats that could create a different experiences but so far, yes, the doses are weaker when I go on my computer or watch TV while dosing.
