I was curious if it would be possible to fore go headphones and substitute a high quality surround sound system and still achieve the desired effects. Has anyone done this before?

Everyone has a Android phone or ipod. We all listen to the same mp3. It worked perfect. Had 20 of us at my house rolling on some shit. All my friends dj so all of us have kick ass headphones. Most using dj 700 from Sony.

A surround-sound system would NOT work, because even though the sounds may be coming from different directions, they still mix before they hit your ears. The idea of headphones / earbuds is that each tone hits your ear seperately. just have everyone listen to the same track at the same time, with headphones or earbuds!

use a headphone splitter so u can all listen to it at the same time
