I'll start off by saying the doses I've done: peyote had effects I think but not much beyond relaxation and I overestimated how long the track was so I never took a chance to really enjoy it. I tried LSD but I think I fell asleep during it. I got about 20 minutes into adrenochrome when I started flipping shit because the track was scaring me somehow. I got to within three minutes of the end of marijuana and felt absolutely nothing. I listened all the way through a-bomb but it was disapointing because it just felt like this tedious buildup for a supposedly strong effect that only lasted like 15 seconds for me. I've also tried the QH of LSD with results of strange and enjoyable feelings and thoughts, but no visualization that I'd assumed would occur. I've tried the astral projection QH four times and never gotten anything out of it.
So essentially all these tracks have been hit or miss, and most of the hits were nothing more than my arms and legs falling asleep and just feeling relaxed. So here's my multiple questions; first, my mind is always racing from thought to thought if I leave it unchecked, which seems to cause trouble while dosing, but what I'm not sure about is whether I should combat this by focusing more on the dose or trying to not think about anything. Alternatively, i have prescription aderal XR for ADD/ADHD and with school out I don't have to take them so I have a lot left over. With focus being an issue, does anyone think this might help dosing? Onto a different subject, my friend, who gets strong results off doses, says to count backwards from a thousand while dosing. This does help me rid my mind of excess thought, but at the same time, focusing on the counting keeps me from focusing on the dose. Is this counting thing good or bad? (btw peyote and LSD are the only tracks above that I used the counting technique for) Lastly, with a mostly failure track record, is it more likely that I just need to be better experienced with I-doser, or is it maybe just not for me?
Sorry for asking so many questions. I just joined the forum and these are the thoughts that have been bugging me for the longest time.

Re: Lots of questions
I will try to answer everything by saying this..
I have been dosing since 2007 (this is a new account now)... and I was here before they had the whole "counting backwards" method and a lot of the new stuff, in fact this was before they even had Quick Hits yet...
In my experience I found the counting backwards is really only helpful when you are REALLY tired.. or if you dose late at night since it tends to keep you awake when listening to the dose... otherwise, I find Condition (dose) and or Meditation/breathing techniques prior to your dose help to keep you alert and ready without having to count.. just focus on the beats...
The best thing I can say is everything is NORMAL... it takes time, in fact It took me like 3 or so listens of Divinorum before I had the best experience ever with I-Doser. It takes some time, don't give up, and each time just try to listen to the beats and explore the sounds... when I get bored or something witht he longer doses I end up trying to differentiate between the sounds, the harmonies if you will, and the white noise.. its fun and it keeps you focused really well.
When you start to feel something, let it flow, and channel it... don't try too hard, stay focused on the beats but let your mind explore.. once you "click" in that trance state you can totally mess with your head and get some good stuff going.
Good luck...

Re: Lots of questions
Thank you. I'm glad I don't have to use the counting backwards method, it always seemed to make the whole thing less enjoyable and more of a task. And it's good to know it takes multiple listens. I've been thinking about trying to meditate before trying Astral Projection again (I already know a few methods for un-assisted astral projection that have come close to working before, so I think they should work really well in tandem with the dose). I'll also be sure to try condition, now that I know it's worth the extra time it takes. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Lots of questions
Hey no problem any time!
You know what I also do.. though I am unsure the credibility of this method... I find listening to a dose say around 12 pm... then another one (or the same again) later on in the day (say 5pm) I don't need to meditate or prepare my brain too much before hand. This could be because your brain is or was used to the dose prior...though like I said I can't really say whether or not this would be as beneficial as meditating prior to the second administration as well It might be all in my head!
