Beats to white noise ratio.

I have tried i-Doser a few times, sometimes getting it to barely work. I have tried both my headphones and my earbuds. But here's the thing: they both have different ratios. My earbuds have 1:1 beat:white ratio, while the headphones are 2:1. Which one is working better? I am using Orgasm QH in this reference. Also, sometimes I can hear the blips, sometimes not. Or are those outside noise I forgot to shut down?

Thanks mate. I was wondering if a lower white noise volume meant that I wasn't hearing certain tones as well, but the beats did seem to be of equal tone and quality on both. So now I shall test again!
