Anti-placebo?
first of all, i am the one and only couch. no imposters (that means you, giveaname). anyways, to answer solyst's question, i try to focus on the sounds at first, but if my mind starts to wonder i don't fight it. i just keep the sound of the dose in my head, because if your mind is wandering it could be part of the dose. don't fight anything that happens in the dose. also, no distractions, because that could alter the natural course your mind takes during the dose

Or do you surf the web/watch tv/play games/etc?Couch wrote:that's what i kinda try to do. when you try not to expect any effects or focus on anything you feel from the dose and just think of the sound, you get better effects. i don't expect anything, even though i still know it works
Its not exactly a question ONLY for couch, but for any users who have experience with the anti-placebo effect. And out of nowhere, giveaname just said "ALWAYS LIE DOWN......NO DESTRACTIONS", which is totally off-topic, since thats the requirements for a placebo effect. This is the equivalent of going into the simulation cd's section, and saying "I LIKES I-DOSER, THE DOSES ARE GOOD"giveaname wrote:ALWAYS lie down with good headphones on a bed maybe some covers for comfort and close your eyes NO DESTRACTIONS.
4 posts trying to insult me just that day because of my post count... If you have a problem with a HELPING member of i-doser then get the hell off the boards k? Also look at the first page of how to maximize your effects nad you will see why I posted that. just because you lost your tampon in your asshole doesn't mean you should go and insult other members of the board.
Solyst wrote: 1. Spamming off-topic messages, pure insults as messages (not even as part of an on-topic post), and repitition of messages in the same thread is NOT helping anyone.
2. Yeah that maximizes your effects for a person who BELIEVES in I-doser, I'm asking about the anti-placebo users, who get effects from NOT believing. BIG difference.
3. Such immature and unnecessary posts as "you lost your tampon in your asshole" do not HELP anyone.
4. This is my last message responding to your irritating messages.
"You can't argue with ignorant idiots, they only drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience."
