A KEY reason why doses sometimes dont work

if you're brainwaves are too far off the starting frequency of the dose your brain probably wont be able to entrain to that frequency in time before the dose moves onto the next frequency. In other words... you're brain missed the boat. Ideally for maximum results you're brainwaves should be as close to the starting frequency as possible

I'd say listen to the pure dose closest the one you want to do.

listening to the pure dose is actually a brilliant idea but then again i-doser doesnt tell you what frequency the dose starts on! so resetting is a good idea... other than that you can take a minute to assess your current mood/emotional state and brainwave activity... maybe its too high maybe its too low.

Its best to lie down and relax for a few minutes and clear your mind, become calm before you start the dose. that'll give your brain the best chance.
