Magic of Placebo

Post by Saint Molotov »

Ness said: "People get way too down on placebo. Effects are effects. If you use I-Doser and get effects, I-Doser worked, REGARDLESS of whether or not it was placebo."

This brings up an interesting point: can we learn to induce or replicate the effects of I-Doser through sheer willpower? Can the mind be trained to trip on its own?

No you can....The mind can be trained to do anything, you can release the chemicals that the noises releases but it'd be very hard to.

Absolutely. Theres almost no denying this. People can induce psychedelic states through deep meditation.

Oh yeah. What Ness said is true.

Unfortunately, i think if people do get a placebo effect and haven't done the drug before, then they're not experiencing the actual drug. I mean, if you've never skii'd before, and then do cocaine and get an effect, how do you know it's actually the cocaine effect?

Interesting :P
