Well to get technical, it is a poison. It's the mushrooms defense mechanism to stop things from consuming or harming it. Also, these don't work. Placebo sucks, but when under the influence there even worse and more annoying. Music sounds great, not annoying white noise with tones in it. Buzz kill.
