I'm still having such a difficult time concentrating. I just tried one and every 30 seconds or so a random thought would flash into my brain like "I hope she doesn't call and interrupt me while I'm doing this" or "that was really great when joe carter hit that walk off homer to win the 93 world series" or "hey i haven't thought of something random for a while, this is great, i am finally concentrating" and i'll get frustrated with myself for not being able to just focus on the sounds.
Why is it so difficult?
I just can't FOCUS!

think about and focus on the middle or center.. or better yet CORE of your brain. Close your eyes, and pay attention on the higher pitched sound and visualize a siren light turning in your head at the core of your brain.
It sounds confusing but if you do it right IT WILL WORK. 100%.
It's probably because it's an interesting feeling you WANT to focus on, on a subconscious level.

the sounds are represented by a pulsating light.
that pulsating light hangs out right in my cortex (if my brain anatomy isn't off) then everytime the sound does something, the light does something.
in any case, it works for me, so try it.
