Well Anesthesia used to always put me to sleep. For some reason it doesn't anymore. I haven't used I-Doser in quite a while, but tried Anesthesia again a few days ago and nothing.
I've been playing with NP2 (Neuro-Programmer 2) a bit, it is using a different type of tones - Isochronic tones. They are much more powerful than binaural beats, however they are also more likely to have adverse effects. One of the NP2 sessions that is supposed to put one to sleep did make me fall asleep, but for some reason i would always wake up after 30 minutes (the session is 50min long). One other variant didn't make me sleepy right away, but "hit" about an hour later, and gave me extremely weird but extremely vivid dreams. I was dreaming that i was walking through my house and doing regular things, but everything was distorted. What was striking is that it was in full vivid color - and you know that dreams are usually pale, and most people agree they are in black and white. I've had that happen on the same session a few months ago, and i hadn't tried it since until yesterday, so it can't be a coincidence. Yeah it might sound like a fun experience, but trust me, it wasn't. I woke up after about an hour, and felt more tired than before.
NP2 is more into relaxation, healing and self-hypnosis, it is definitely not for entertainment purposes like I-Doser is, and like i said above, it is very alike to any other methods of treatment - it is incompatible with certain people. I-Doser on the other hand is a bit more on the "fun" side - some doses may be scary but do not have any adverse effects on the brain.
