Need advice on doses/technique. All comments are appreciate!

What I do is lay down, get comfortable, etc.. Then I put on my headphones and play the dose. I usually close my eyes but when doing a hallucination dose I open them occasionally to see what's going on. Instead of counting what I do is copy the dose like I'm playing it along in my head. Next thing I know, what happened? If it's still not working you could buy and download the official I-Doser guide.
