i think meditation would greatly help man, or at least try controlled breathing, you MUST practice doing it to focus ONLY on breathing, but it might help. I hope something works out soon for you bro.
maybe don't look at idoser so much as something that makes you feel a certain way, without your brain idoser would not work, your mind is a powerful thing. take a break and come back to it and hey man, don't try so hard. maybe you're giving yourself a subconscious block when you do so somehow. it will come to you if you dont push yourself so much and just let it happen when it does.
i won't say why, but I was in a pretty bad slump, still kinda am, what helps me day to day is to realize that what will will be, you can't change that and that the best thing you can do is to not worry and some higher power will sort things out for you, whether your personally believe in God or not, things will happen the way they're supposed to, and how you choose to deal with them affects your mood. Also, music is a great healer, try just music, like soothing electronic downtempo, or some stuff like the Yoshida Brothers.
Wish you much luck with your endeavors brother.

I agree with randomdude93! Very good suggestions!
To add it it, I say practice and persistence are very important. You have to make it a habit to listen without expecting the result.

Hey, thanks for the post, seems like some weird things come across in your life sometimes. I've had this telepathy experience go on for a year or more, then I lost my connection. I know that this was a connection with God, or a God given gift, so yea.. I forgot to mention, that, when I try to release certain limits of the mind, they go away, but trying to get my brain to accept binaural beats, I feel a mental block in my head, like someone purposely put a block over in my head and I can't erase it... Weird things happen, but I'll try some more meditation, or controlled breathing, then make progress on this mental block.

No problem man, I hope meditation will help. God works in mysterious ways you know, hopefully through meditation and focus whatever His plan for your gift is will become clear.
Godspeed to you, God bless you, and again best of luck bro.

So guys, I think it's been over a week, and I figured out my problem... I have a subconscious block over binaural beats... It's as if it has been placed there, I did not put it there myself. I can try to meditate and release the mental block away from myself, but it doesn't work. Nothing works. No matter how hard I try, there are things I can do with the mind (im sure everyone can) that does a certain thing. I try to get my mind to accept these beats.... This all sounds silly, but it's the truth, because I can "feel" this block, if it went away, I'd be normal again, or... I can make myself normal..does this make any sense guys??

Don't worry friend!
What's your favorite song? And how do you listen to it? Listen to the binaural beats the same way.
Why do you listen to your favorite song? To enjoy, right? Same way, listen the binaural beats to enjoy, NOT to get results. Tell your mind 100 times that you LOVE the binaural beats the same way as you love your favorite movie songs.
This SHOULD work.
Please do inform the progress..

Instead of counting backwards I try to mimic the sound of the dose in my head. It works better for me. Also I've gotten effect with the crappy ear buds that came with my mp3 player, so I know it's not the headphones.

Wow, after over a month of making this topic, it seems I might have had a breakthrough on my "idoser no effectiveness" Everytime I'd meditate on getting rid of these binaural beats, the strange mental block would *deffect* my ability to clear my mind, in any way to get rid of the mental block. When something just happened, i got into a quick conversation with the buddha, and I felt the heavy dense fog(mental block) in the center of my brain "actual weight" fly off, though something happened, it was throwing itself back, therefore I had the chance to fight it..
I don't know why, or how this happened, I'm not really so sure, but it's mostly gone now, because when I listen to a dose, my mind fights it, because my brain already accepts these beats, no I'm not on drugs, this all happened. Thank you everyone so much for the advice, I think the believing in the doses may have gave me a strong aid to fighting this beast, hope it goes away forever..
Oh yes, now to my experience.
I tried the only dose I knew that worked best for me, French Roast, I played it, put my head back, and fell into a clear, trance, it only felt seconds in my brain that it had been five minutes, and I felt very very clear in my head, not light headed, just mind, emptied from everything.
And since my eyes were closed for five minutes, that's when I get "tired" when I opened my eyes, I felt more awake, and I had a "french roast" feeling visibly, but no so much, COARSING, in my brain. I hope to continue listening to IDoser, and thank you maker for making such a great community site, where I can add another thing to my journey of experiencing, and enjoying a fantasy life I have always lived in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I find that most effect is sitting upright with legs propped up covered with a blanket. I also like the volume a bit louder than recommended.

Hmmmm.....as in voices do you mean like talking to yourself? You might be like me and have a very active mind, sometimes when I'm in deep thought or when my brain is really stimulated i.e. through binaural beats, such as i-doser, I'll hear stuff-but I know that's purely me talking to myself out of imagination or it's my consciousness telling me something. If it's after prayer or meditation/meditative prayer it's most always at the very least my consciousness if not God talking.
If you're dosing alot or something, ease back just a little, and maybe you'll stop having this effect, you could be just really stimulating your brain, that's what it sounds like, but then again that's just my speculation. Or it's just a short after effect coming out of the doses-unless it's interfering with your everyday life it shouldn't be a huge problem and my solution is to just ease up, just a tad, on the doses until the voices, or whatever effect, subsides, and then get back to it when you feel comfortable.
Hope this helps bro.
