I'm not sure if this crappy Coby 2GB MP3 player will really work for these or if the DRG to MP3 converter at 128kbps is it but perhaps the effects are not as strong as they should be? I'm not sure but I still have yet to be completely distraction free.
I have 4 experiences with 2 doses that I would like to thoroughly explain:
Nitrous - Works a charm, I never tried actual nitrous though. Instead of getting heavy I feel really lightweight and floaty, kind of dreamy. Feels giddy, and I don't burst into laughter but the second time around when I laid down and listened to it... it began to feel great! My mouth went numb for some reason and my limbs felt light. Comes down very easy, and the after effects are really the best part when your walking around either floating or heavy like an anchor. This is THE best for everyone to try at first because it's short and it hits you fast and lasts a moderate amount of time.
Methamphetamine - Feels JUST like the real thing, and this was my first dose that fully convinced me even though I was sitting at my PC the entire time and was reading the guide while chatting with some mates of mine. Once I snorted 3/4 of a dime and I-Doser perfectly recreated that euphoria (without much concentration or proper method), cold sweating, focus (especially), clear-headed feeling and vivid thoughtfulness. I went from being completely fatigued and tired to completely focused, awake, concentrated and vivid. I once had a body rush, just a spontaneous blast of goodness across my body quite intensely. The rush was not a feeling I had experienced even from snorting it, but I turned down smoking because I did not want to have the urge to repeat the experience. I got down and did a series of push-ups very quickly and I noticed details very well. I had no trouble falling asleep, but it took me a few hours first. I felt (or rather noticed that I was) a bit tweaked-out though with the typical stimulant twitches and movements. I could but I couldn't sit still! Man, this is dead-center with the real deal. This is THE dose to try if you want to make comparisons.
I felt that the crystal binaural dose was actually quite preferable to the real deal in some aspects, no comedown and you don't go crazy, but you still get a minor deal of paranoia. The coolest effect I noticed was the depth and dimension of [originally] 2D imagery. I would have to say that I could have a lot of fun with this one if I ever go out somewhere! I can't wait to try dexies, speed or white crosses.

If you're going to convert it for an mp3 player at LEAST make it 320kbps.

I think the player only supports up to 256 kbps, and I just crammed a lot onto it anyways. 128 kbps is the default anyways.
The beats are identical, I don't see what could be much different.
But I'll take your advice.
If I could use my Sansa e260 then FLAC would be the way to go, or OGG.

If you can't tell the difference between the .drg version and a 128kbps version you must be using pretty shitty headphones.
128kbps isn't really the default anymore. I mean really it's pretty low quality...

Your right. At least 192-256kbps would do these justice.
I'm using those cheap 20 dollar Sony stereo headphones. Going to invest at least 60-80 into the next pair probably. Any recommendations?

Possibly my hearing is a bit skewed. I wouldn't make for a very credible audiophile in terms of quality. I've perforated both eardrums before in weird accidents, but the left one completely once which took months for the hearing to return to about normal.
Oh well, it might have not quite affected my hearing, I'll just try 256 or 320.

I would highly suggest Sennheiser. I have the HD555s and they're absolutely amazing.
Oh and don't buy anything from Bose. All of their stuff sounds like shit and is way overpriced.

As i continued to use use i-doser i started getting strange feelings. everytime i used a dose i got more and more effected by it. now i get some crazy shit out of these doses! My suggestion is if you try I -doser and dont get any results dont give up! keep trying it and soon the effects will kick in and kick your ass!
The principals of brainwave entrainment. The more used to changing frequency your brain gets, the better of course.
I've noticed that my doses keep getting more and more effective. I'm feeling so tired right now I just need something to lull me to sleep. Insomnia looks perfect!

If you're going to get the HD555s, then look into the "foam pad removal mod." It just requires you to open up the headphones and remove these foam pads. It has no negative side effects at all and makes them sound a lot better. Why Sennheiser put them there is still a mystery to me.

Bitrate isn't making any difference, the binaural beats remain the same.
Well, lower bitrates than 128 can distort the white, brown and pink noise but other than that...
