So are you implying that lucid dream aren't real??????

I'm implying that they are real, but nothing outside of you realizing that your dreaming. I don't think any dream characters you meet are real people dreaming just like the person having a lucid dream; some will disagree, and some will agree.
Lucid dreams deffinitely are real though.

dude lucid dreams are as real as you make them. For example say i want to see my dead father, I think him up in front of me and chat away. It will seem plenty real.

That's not what I mean.
If you go to sleep tonight and lucidly dream that you came up to a friend of yours and punched him, he won't have a dream that includes him getting punched by you.
I can talk to you in my sleep, but you won't experience it in yours. We aren't all connected through sleep is what I'm saying.

I still call BS on that too. But if someone claims they have met other people and they can vouche for them then that should be good for them.
I know that sounded rediculous. I'm very tired.

The Lift up technique works the best for me... I like the rope technique as well though.

When I was still trying to Astral Project I didn't use I-Doser for it. I would lay down in a comfortable position, and begin counting my breaths (one....two....one....two...)
I would then start repeating a phrase over and over again; almost telling myself to leave my body. My phrase would usually be, "I fly" or "pull up"
At some point during all of this my heart would speed up and then I would get "electric like" shoots of energy through my limbs. It gets quite hard to focus during it, which I think was my problem.
I beleive if you get further, you enter a hypnogogic state, and then you are able to Astral Project. I may be wrong though.
