I don't like getting off-topic in threads but I already am, so ... I'll say no, and Law and Order isn't as good as CSI in my opinion in terms of enjoyability.
As far as being on-topic goes, Doses continue to work for me increasingly well, without showing signs of plateauing, so I will continue to experiment with doses and provides updates weekly to biweekly in my thread in the Introductions topic.

On topic: The doses have failed to work for me, I guess I'm still not tolerant.
Off topic: What I meant was, do you have the same occupation as he does? (He's some sort of psychiatrist or something that works with the police department.) And CSI is the better show, but I always forgot when its on, so I just stick to Law and Order.

Off-Topic: Not quite, but that would be an interesting career. I'm active field duty, so to speak, and due to the nature of my position and our "open door policy", there are times that I will sit with people and speak with them similar to a psychologist; however, it is by no means a way to diagnose, just to vent.
On-Topic: Having my strongest reactions to Trip and Ecstasy (Trip gives me different reactions every time, but Ecstasy is consistently the same reaction), Lucid Dream is becoming a very strong dose for me as well. Many of my dreams are nonsensical until using the LD dose, at which point everything is much more confined to "what might be real".

On-topic: Lucid dream worked for me quite easily, just after the 5th try, and I'm not sure if this is necessary, but I always fall asleep during the dose.
Off-topic: Are you a negotiator? Also, once we finish this crusade of off-topic posts, I'd like to kindly ask you to edit each post so the "off-topic" parts no longer exist, since I don't want to be the cause of wasted bandwidth.

it was pretty fun. and I did a RC in it and that's how I became lucid it was cool i do 5-10 RC's a day also, to try to have a lucid dream. They are just so fun! you can do anything, you will never be bored of a lucid dream.
Both posts on the same day. This is significant proof that at least SOME of your posts (if not most) are just to raise your post count, and nothing more.
On-topic: To get stronger doses working better, you (the general audience) should start off with the weakest doses, and work your way up, so your mind becomes more tolerant each time, and when you finally reach bufo toad/hand of god/inhalant, the effects will be maximized.

That reminds me, I remember reading a thread somewhere, that mentioned you shouldn't be EXPECTING effects, since if you expect effects different from what should actually happen, you might get no effects at all.

What's up with you and post count? I don't give a fuck about my post count. I said "Lucid dreams never worked for me because the DOSE LUCID DREAMS NEVER WORKED FOR ME. I had a lucid dream WITHOUT THE USE OF THE DOSE LUCID DREAMS. Do you understand now?
Also I would appreciate if you would stop spamming about how you have a problem with me because of my post count. Don't you have anything better to do like HOMEWORK or something?

On-Topic: As per the plethora of lucid dream posts, a great tip for getting a lucid dream to really "click into focus" is to look at your hands and try to count your fingers. In a true lucid dream, this really helps to focus everything and lets you fully realize the predicament you're in.
Off-Topic: For clarity's sake I probably won't edit my posts to remove the off-topic posts... plus I'm pretty lazy and I'm tired right now. For the questions, though, I don't really plan on answering any more specifically than I have any time soon. Sorry, but I still have to cover my own hide.

Bad experiences can be as enlightening as good ones. Accept that you might have a bad experience, but don't be afraid of it. Doing this will not only reduce the chances of having a bad experience, it will make you better able to shake off/integrate a bad experience should you have one. Do what I said and try LD again. Don't be afraid of what is inside your head.

halcyon_daze wrote:Oh, and to the person who woke up from the Lucid Dream one unable to move: that's related to seizure activity too
I'm beginning to think that most altered states are.
Are altered states related to seizures, or is a seizure an altered state? =)
Also, in regards to your theory, halcyon_daze, about being in a state of higher anxiety and having it provide greater sensitivity to a dose, I feel there may be a good amount of substance to that. When I try to regulate my breathing I don't get as good a reaction as if I let my breathing become shallow and quick - similar to states of anxiety. Perhaps chemical reactions are simply "loosened" while anxious, and therefore a dose would be more effective. Just my thoughts.

They work, but they never do what they anre supposed to. Alchohol gets me "in the mood" and french roast puts me to sleep.
