Noise-Cancelling Headphone Question

If I dose with noise-cancelling headphones, is it possible that the noise-cancelling tone will mess up the binatural tones?

I have actually been wondering this too. I am a little upset that my roomies pair of bose are bluetooth otherwise I would try it straight away.

Be careful with any headphones designed to use either hardware or software noise processing. Noise cancelling typically works by monitoring ambient sound and making corrections to eliminate noise. Same goes with any headphones that use fancy processing terms (like "bassboot," 3d simulated surround, etc)... Our advice, get yourself a good over-ear designed set with a long cable. Nobody is going to know specific models here, as even models vary greatly in the same brand. Don't expect much with those freebie sets you get with your cell phone.
