How can I stay more focused on doses? I counted down once, which worked, but its kinda hit and miss.
Also, could I load (rap) songs into the background to help me focus?

This is a good guide I wrote to meditation, Meditation is very good for relaxing and focusing on the dose you are trying to use. Give it a shot. It cant hurt.

Meditation probably adds the biggest boost to the efficiency and effectiveness you can get out of these tones. I think people should learn to meditate before they start dosing because I believe you will become so much more aware when you meditate on these tones that there will be absolutely no doubt they work.

I agree, people also have a tendency to think "i don't think its gonna work. I should just shut off the dose" but thinking that is only aiding to being distracted. Your being close minded about the dose.

You should generally stay away from background music with lyrics. The lyrics will sidetrack you and make you think about them. Techno should be fine.

Those doses excist of audio waves, every audio wave has an period. Which is the beginning and start, so basically its a looped sample. You hear like:

OU OU OU OU OU

So every OU counts as one, if you focus on that you won't get distracted anymore. Like you need to focus on the loop. That how I do it, and don't forget it's harder to focus when you're hungry so eat well before you start.

Actually if it was a looped sample it would cause adverse emotional effects. The .DRG files actually generate the dose as it plays. See if you listen to music and you hear a sample over and over your going to recognize it and hear it. It will cause headaches and anger. But with IDoser there is JUST enough variance that you dont hear the same thing over and over and makes it soothing to listen to. Yes you can count it but all your doing is timing the frequency in your head which is a good meditation technique to begin with. I personally like to follow the wave with my eyes.

Try soundtracks. I like mixing different Anime soundtracks into the dose. Full Metal Panic and Evangelion soundtracks work well when mixed into a dose.
