Is it just me ... ?

Okay, let's see. I tried it twice, but was unable to see the end of both the doses. I'm using the required equipment and everything.
I tried "A-Bomb" first ... experienced it for like 59 % when I was interrupted. But apart from feeling light headed, there was nothing. I walked around, and 'almost' lost my balance a couple times, but I was still retaining my "consciousness", was still able to bar the line between reality and fiction. (Think about it this way, I fooled a pal into believing I was tripping, acted all crazy deliberately and she bought it.)
Next day, I sit down again and turn on I-doser. Fine, all cool, we're right on schedule. Decided to use something hard, and what's better than the globally controversial "heroine" ? It doesn't grip you in like "A-Bomb" did, but it's got one helluva tale to spin inside your brain. 10 % ... 20 % ... 30 % ... Nothing changes. I can feel reality "blurring", yet there's nothing I wasn't able to handle. Pal Imed me, IMed him back. Concentration was still on the soundwaves ... tick-tock ... tick-tock ... tick-tock. At 69 %, computer had to restrart for some reason and it killed the dose. Yet again, after the dose, nothing fancy. No headache. But this time I kept hearing a sound ringing in my ear like a laser gun shooting (Such as those in earlier star wars). Anytime I heard anybody talking, the sound magnified ... but with time it died down. (Fooled the pal again that I was trippin' ... )
The similarity in both the doses is that it grabbed me right from the very beginning. Within 3-4 % of both of them, I felt a "presence" of a hold over me, but it was like something I "allowed" myself, I easily took over myself whenever I wanted.
And oh yeah ... I've never done drugs. Never done ciggys. Drank once (downed 5 beers, yet STILL walked in a straight line and was all sober). So ... am kinda curious how in the hell am I experiencing it this way ? Has anybody else come across a similar experience too ?
