well i really need help concentrating on the fricken thing. any suggestions?

I have alot of problems with it too, thus It would be nice to have a bit o' direction now and then.

just concentrate on the static and let the beats flow

For me, I always go with a dark and quiet environment. I make sure that the time allotted to the dose will be 100% uninterrupted by all controllable outside forces. After that, I just lay down on my bed, under my covers (in case I fall asleep...happens on occasion...) and begin by focusing on the static and beep-type noises.

I've been able to get solid, strong results from doses including Trip and Ecstasy even after letting my mind wander. I've found the best way is to try to get to that point where you're about to fall asleep, and you're hazy - and susceptible to binaural beats. I hope this helps someone!
