You're not supposed to be using it unless you're 18.. Listen to yer mum if you arnt.. But anyway you can show your mom that binaural beats are safe on the 100s of websites that deals with them.. The episode on 1000 ways to die shows that the guy used a military device which you are unlikely have.. That clip is present on the idoser site..

I'm 13 and my parents don't even know I dose , when i first told them about it , they went crazy , then i "faked quit" and the problem solved !!! i usually dose at night so there is no problem , and when I want to dose with them close to me , i just say I'm listening to music with a blindfold because of the sun in my eyes xD

What I would do is calmly explain to my mom to do some research and look up binural beats, also explain its your money(as long as your buying them) and you would appreciate it if she let you spend it on what interests and pleases you. If this doesn't work i guess your screwed, but try to be polite and show her your point of view, but also respect hers.
