Hey everybody,
I'm pretty new here and was actually assigned to do I-Doser for my psychology class to test if it's a placebo effect. The assignment is to try several of the doses myself, and then to test it on other people without telling them what it's supposed to do and then compare the results. I'm a natural skeptic and hesitate to buy into anything without unbiased knowledge and experience. I have used binaural beats in the past for meditation and concentration with positive effects, but I'm still not sure about all of the claims made on I-Doser just because it's my nature. Also, other than alcohol and prescription Adderall for ADHD, I don't use psychotropic drugs, so I don't really know what to compare these doses to in respect to the actual drugs the doses purport to simulate. I have access to a good majority of the doses, including Hand of God and Gates to Hades, from my professor, who sent me a big .zip of about 150 of the .drg files. But anyway, today I tried French Roast and QuickHappy and had surprising effects!
I didn't do it exactly right; I was sitting at the computer but with my hands over my eyes so I couldn't see anything, but the French Roast had a pretty big effect on me quickly. After a couple minutes I felt myself being more alert and my eyes lost that sleepy feeling I'd had for a couple hours. It's been about 3 hours since I did it, and I can still feel the effects from it; I'm a lot more alert and aware and awake. I would give it a 9/10 for effectiveness, almost all of my sluggishness has gone away.
The QuickHappy one had a similarly fast effect on me. I quickly felt happier and more excited, like I had received really surprising good news or something. For the last half hour or so I've felt elevated. I'll give it an 8/10 because it hasn't been that long since I did it.
Overall I was really surprised about the results from these. I did do the milder ones because I want to work up to the more extreme ones to gauge my experiences, and the experiences of the people I test them on, and also because I don't want to shock myself doing an extreme one and put myself off from doing them, but I was surprised at how effective they really were. I would be really curious to see peer reviewed studies done about these doses, especially compared with the general binaural beats that are out there. I do plan on doing more of these posts documenting mine and others' experiences with the doses, and hopefully I'll be able to sound less wooden and academic during them!

My first F Roast was taken watching NatGeo worked great ! Though my arms would get tired with your arms in the air technique ;D haha. welcome aboard & I hope to see how your testing develops further (:
I wonder if you'll be writing papers on this my girlfriends psych class blew my mind, and I didn't even have to attend it !

Thanks! I do plan on writing more about this, and I'll definitely keep updating this forum about it. Also when you're a girl and have something to rest your arms on it's a lot easier to stay relaxedLucidGamer wrote:My first F Roast was taken watching NatGeo worked great ! ETA: I forgot to mention the lasting effects of the doses I tried yesterday. I had a really busy day yesterday, doing a lot of errands and putting together new furniture, but I still felt really energized from the French Roast and had to drink a little to get tired enough to fall asleep. This 5 minute moderate dose was amazingly effective! The real, not I-Dose Adderall I take renders caffeine completely ineffective so being kept up by the dose was a surprise. I'm going to use this a lot I think.
The QuickHappy also worked really well. One of the pieces of furniture my fiance and I bought came broken but my mood stayed consistent and I didn't have any frustration that would have kept me from making a calm decision about it.
Overall I'm very impressed with I-Doser so far! The scientific community really needs to look at this more because it could have huge therapeutic effects and I could see binaural beats working as a real alternative to psychiatric drugs. I 'm very wary of anything that looks like woo but this has real potential to be helpful for a lot of people.

haha having something to rest your arms on is cheating! I just wish I could follow other members at least so I could be updated via Email when they post a new experience! I've wanted to try I-doser adderall, because I have struggled with adhd since I can even remember, and now that I'm an adult college can sometimes be a struggle I am hoping to try it eventually since real adderall has helped in the past. Do you have any idea what your next dose will be (:?

I've tried a few other ones so far: Lucid Dreaming, Opium, Heroin <3, Adderall, Brain+, and a few others. I'm going to start another review threat soon, maybe today or tomorrow. As I'm getting more used to the effects I'm wanting more and more to try some of the hallucogenic ones, and I'll probably start with Trip.
I didn't do the Adderall dose the 'right' way; instead I was just running a bunch of the stimulants in a playlist while I was working on a paper, but it really seemed to work really well! I'm going to try doing it correctly in a few days. If it worked at all similarly to the real drug it would be a delight and I wouldn't have to worry so much when I had to get another prescription because the US is ridiculous.

Yeah I've used the student dose while studying before but never the adderall dose, and cocaine worked well for me one morning when I was walking to the subway (: I feel doses work well overall, and if you're able to focus on the dose while doing other activities you should be able to notice weaker, but similar outcomes. Anywho looking forward to your next post!
