NIRVANA

It is a mode of being that is free from mind-contaminants such as lust, anger or craving. It is thus a state where all passions and emotions are stilled – the end of suffering. The Buddha says of Nirvana that it is "the highest happiness". This is not the sense-based happiness of everyday life, nor the concept of happiness as interpreted by Western culture, but rather an enduring, transcendental happiness integral to the calmness attained through enlightenment.
The Buddha describes the abiding in Nirvana as 'deathlessness' or 'the unconditioned' and as the highest spiritual attainment, the natural result that accrues to one who lives a life of virtuous conduct in accordance with Dharma. Such a life dissolves the causes for future becoming that otherwise keep beings forever wandering through realms of desire and form.

true but you are able to leave nirvana(if it truly exists) because some people belive the dahli lama is the reincarnation of buddha himself and as we all kno buddha obtained nirvana

yeah, but another monk spent 10 years of his life meditating trying to reach nirvana, with a diet of apples and water, and didn't reach it... i don't think nirvana is for people like you and me...

thats also tru but if u truly believe in nirvana then u must believe in reincarnation which means maybe in our next lives we shall obtain it while this life is simply for doing stuff like idosing lol so sumtime thru out our life cycles i shall meet u in nirvana. so until then keep on keeping on

Anything can be done through meditation. Just believe and try hard. Don't give up!

try content, tranquil, chakra, or serene. They are nowhere close to true nirvana but ad some meditation and mantras and youll get some inner tranquility.
