LSD

For this dose, I wore Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones. This dose starts out with a nice alpha wave section, causing a strong sense of activity and effort while not doing anything; just lying in bed with my eyes closed. Around 5 minutes, the dose has slowed to the theta wave range. A feeling of unbalance washes across the body here, probably due to the body trying to relax from the stimulating opening of the dose. Possible feelings of spinning may be experienced here as well. This dose comes on quickly with a bittersweet transition into the effects. The color purple was primarily present in my personal experience during this section of the dose. After settling into a constant calm theta wave, the spinning sensation stops. The body starts to relax more heavily here. About 8 minutes in, the waves start to speed back up, causing the feeling of spins to come back momentarily. The colors purple and orange are now primarily present. 11 minutes in, the waves are gradually getting faster still, while waves of energy start washing over the body. 15 minutes passed; several colors are now present and swirling around each other. 20 minutes into the dose, the body feels like it’s in sync with everything. A sense of peace and understanding is constantly present, along with grainy to vivid visuals of colors, patterns, shapes, and vague figures; with closed eyes. 25 minutes into LSD, skin is now very sensitive to the touch, and the closed-eye visuals are almost dreamlike in character. 28 minutes brings on an even slower, low theta range wave, the body feeling a strong sinking feeling, as the closed-eye visuals start to weaken. 3 minutes left in the dose, the body is completely relaxed, the mind almost absent at this point, having drifted off into the dreamy visuals and feelings of tranquility. Waves of color wash through the body and visuals are mild. The end of the dose leaves the listener in a Zen state, free to continue relaxing, the visuals gradually dissipating. Five stars for this one.
