I-Doser iOS app compared to audio from site

I've owned the I-Doser iOS app for a while now and have been thinking about trying the mp3 audio from the I-Doser site. Seeing that the app is outdated, should I switch to the mp3 downloads? If I do, what are the similarities and differences between the two?

The iOS app will be updated (give or take) first quarter of 2013. If you have invested in the app, stick with that and supplement with mp3 packs for the doses that you want but aren't in the app. The update for iOS will have additional doses - but we won't release details on how many or which ones just yet. MP3 doses and mobile doses are too similar to invest in both copies. You can (and many advanced users do) use MP3s/CDs/or Mobile Doses along with the longer sequences found in the computer software versions of the doses. More advanced still - the premium computer software allows things like background audio mixing, mp3 export, visualizations - etc. A great upgrade option if you are investing in a dose library.

Thanks for the info. Another quick question... I've been contemplating purchasing a new in-app dose on the iOS app. (Lucid Dream, to specify.)
Anticipating the update, should I proceed in my purchase? Or will it delete my purchase? Point being, will I have to re purchase the dose, come 2013?

No, any new versions of the app will restore previous purchases for free.
